His is an interesting job situation: The Panthers traded Mike Goodson to the Oakland Raiders, Jonathan Stewart becomes a free agent next year, and DeAngelo Williams turns 30 next year (and could be a salary cap-related cut if Stewart is re-signed). Yes, the Panthers also signed Mike Tolbert, but they plan to use him as a fullback. Scouts, Inc. said of Poole during East-West Shrine Game practices in January: "Tennessee's Tauren Poole showed the most natural running skills of any running back taking part this week.
